Peters Sunset Beach Resort Response to COVID-19
The health of our guests, staff and community is of the utmost importance. In these extraordinary times, open communications are more important than ever. We are reaching out to you to keep you informed of the summer status and the resort actions.
We are closely monitoring the situation in Minnesota and beyond. We are following the COVID-19 curves around the world and guidelines from the CDC and the MN Department of Health. We are watching the policies of the major airlines and the travel industry, as many of our guests fly into MSP.
We remain on schedule and open for guests and golfers starting May 1, 2020. In Minnesota, hotels and accommodations remain open as essential services. Minnesota has temporarily closed restaurants, bars and golf courses to May 1, 2020.
For guests with existing reservations for any arrival date in 2020, you may move back your arrival later in 2020 with no cancellation fees on deposits or change fees, subject to availability.
During May 2020, we are adjusting our arrival and departure times to give our housekeeping staff extra time for heightened sanitizing and cleaning procedures and products. Arrival time will be 5:00 p.m. (If the space is open the night before, arrival time will be 1:00 p.m. Please call a day in advance to confirm.) Departure time will be 11:30 a.m. We are raising the bar on sanitization and cleanliness. We are supporting our staff for an effective cleaning program. Golf course services will be improved for sanitization.
The resort has made it through difficult times before and will get through this, too. Thank you for your continued support as we navigate this challenge. We stand ready to adjust our actions, as things develop.
We look forward to the summer and better times ahead.
