 Family
Reunions
Peters Resort is a very popular destination for family
reunions. Some of the families who return here every summer
have been coming here for years (and decades). We also have
new family reunion groups coming every year. Families play
games together, across the generations: golf, shuffleboard,
volleyball, swimming, rodeo golf, tennis, bean bag tosses.
People come to gather here from all over the U.S., and in
some cases fly in from across the world.
We have several large reunion lodges that are especially
designed for family groups.
Wedgewood Lodge,
Pezhekee Lodge,
Hiawatha Lodge,
Sommerset/Dundee,
and
Shuster are popular. We
have many forms of lodging so that we can also accommodate
groups that wish to stay in separate lodging. |

 Weddings
Peters Resort hosts many wedding groups. Typically, families
will have the wedding service at a local church, the
Lakeside Ballroom, or at other locations in the area. The
Lakeside Ballroom has become a very popular location for
wedding receptions and dances, due to the great facility and
the lovely views of Lake Minnewaska. Experienced local
photographers, such as
Lane
Studio in Glenwood, can provide wonderful photographs of
your special occasion. Because of the lovely gardens at the
resort by
David Peters, the backdrops for your photos can be
spectacular.
The Pezhekee Golf Course is a
fun location on site for your golf event. We can host your
golf event associated with the gathering. |

 Anniversaries
Family gatherings for anniversaries are special reunion
events here at Peters Resort. 50th anniversary family
gatherings are our most popular! The
Lakeside Ballroom can accommodate your anniversary
reception and dance, if you have live music or a DJ. |
